Clarivive MedInsight Ltd operates a structured policy framework to support safe, fair, ethical and effective delivery of training. This page provides a public summary of key policies affecting learners, organisations, website users and training participants. These summaries do not replace full internal governance procedures. They are intended to provide a clear overview and should be read alongside the relevant full policy where applicable. Internal procedures, staff guidance and confidential governance documents may not be published publicly.
Clarivive MedInsight Ltd provides health and social care training through online learning, webinars, face-to-face sessions, in-house employer training and blended learning. Training supports learning, awareness, confidence, knowledge development and, where applicable, practical skill development.
Unless explicitly stated, training does not replace employer induction, workplace supervision, local policy, competency sign-off, professional registration or legal authorisation to practise. Completion of a course does not automatically authorise a learner to carry out activities independently or outside their role, competence, supervision or workplace procedures. Learners and employers remain responsible for determining whether further workplace training, observation or competency assessment is required.
Some face-to-face or blended courses may include trainer-led demonstration, learner practice and practical assessment in a training environment or simulated activity. This may apply to courses such as first aid, emergency first aid at work, first aid at work, choking response, moving and handling, safe medication administration and other approved practical courses.
Practical assessment confirms whether the learner met approved course criteria during the training session. It does not automatically confirm workplace competence or employer authorisation. A practical pass reflects the learner’s performance during the specific assessment and should not be treated as evidence of permanent or unrestricted competence. Where the required standard is not met, the learner may be referred for further learning, practice, reassessment or rebooking.
Courses are reviewed at least annually and earlier where required by changes in legislation, guidance, learner feedback, employer feedback, audit findings or quality concerns.
Quality assurance may include course review, version control, learner feedback, trainer observation, assessment sampling, standardisation and internal quality assurance. Reviews may result in changes to course content, assessments, practical activities, learner materials, trainer guidance or certification arrangements to ensure that training remains accurate, relevant and fit for purpose.
Trainers and assessors delivering on behalf of Clarivive MedInsight Ltd are expected to hold appropriate subject competence, trainer credentials and relevant teaching qualifications.
Freelance trainers must follow Clarivive MedInsight Ltd policies, approved course materials, assessment rules and confidentiality requirements. Trainers and assessors are also expected to maintain their knowledge and competence through appropriate continuing professional development. Delivery and assessment may be observed, sampled or reviewed as part of quality assurance and standardisation.
Certificates are issued only where approved completion and assessment criteria are met.
Online certificates may be generated automatically through the LMS. Face-to-face certificates may be generated through the LMS after trainer submission of attendance, assessment and completion records. Blended certificates must reflect the actual components completed.
Certificates confirm course completion and/or course-based assessment only unless the certificate specifically states otherwise. Clarivive MedInsight Ltd may withhold, revoke, cancel or replace a certificate where it was issued in error, obtained fraudulently, based on inaccurate learner information, or requires an authorised correction. Certificate decisions must be recorded through an appropriate controlled process.
Learners must register using accurate information and must not create duplicate accounts or use another person’s account.
Certificates are generated from LMS records and become locked from ordinary editing after issue. Where a correction is required, the original certificate may need to be revoked and replaced through authorised controls. Identity verification measures may be applied where reasonably necessary to protect assessment and certificate integrity, prevent impersonation and reduce fraud. Learners are responsible for checking that their registration details are accurate before certificate generation.
Learners are expected to participate respectfully, honestly and safely.
Learners must not cheat, share assessment answers, impersonate others, misuse certificates, disrupt training, record live sessions without permission or share confidential information improperly. Learners must also follow reasonable trainer, venue, health and safety and safeguarding instructions. Serious or repeated misconduct may result in removal from training, restricted LMS access, assessment review, certificate withholding or termination of enrolment.
Clarivive MedInsight Ltd aims to provide fair and inclusive access to learning.
Reasonable adjustments may be considered where safe, proportionate and consistent with course requirements. Adjustments must not reduce required assessment or safety standards. Clarivive MedInsight Ltd does not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation and aims to maintain a respectful and inclusive learning environment. Where a requested adjustment cannot be provided, an appropriate alternative will be considered where reasonably possible.
Clarivive MedInsight Ltd is committed to safeguarding and learner welfare.
Confidentiality may be overridden where disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, manage safeguarding concerns, comply with legal obligations or support emergency action. Safeguarding concerns will be managed in accordance with the company’s safeguarding procedures and may be referred to an employer, safeguarding authority, emergency service or other relevant body where lawful and necessary. Only information that is relevant and proportionate should be shared.
Reasonable steps are taken to manage risks during training delivery.
Where training takes place at an employer site, the employer remains responsible for providing a safe and suitable training environment and appropriate equipment. Clarivive MedInsight Ltd may pause, refuse or reschedule training where safety concerns cannot be resolved. Learners must follow reasonable health and safety instructions, use equipment only as directed and report hazards, injuries or concerns promptly. Practical activities may be stopped where continued participation could create an unacceptable risk.
Personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, and Records Retention Policy.
Learner records are managed through the LMS and supporting systems where operationally necessary. Personal information may be processed for learner registration, course delivery, attendance, assessment, certification, quality assurance, support, legal compliance and business administration. Access is restricted according to role and legitimate operational need. Learners must not submit or disclose unnecessary patient-identifiable, medical, financial or confidential information.
Learners and organisations may raise complaints or appeals where they are dissatisfied with training, assessment, certification or service delivery.
Complaints and appeals are reviewed fairly and proportionately. A complaint normally concerns the quality or administration of a service, while an appeal challenges a specific decision, such as an assessment outcome, certificate decision or reasonable adjustment decision. Learners and organisations will not be treated unfairly for raising a genuine concern in good faith. Submitting an appeal does not automatically change the original decision.
Refund, cancellation and rescheduling arrangements are managed under our Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Written requests are required. Requests must include sufficient booking information and reasons for the request and may require supporting evidence where appropriate. Submission does not guarantee approval, and each request will be assessed against the published policy, applicable booking terms and any statutory rights.
Course materials, assessment content, videos, slides, documents, branding and learning resources remain the intellectual property of Clarivive MedInsight Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Materials must not be copied, shared, reproduced or reused without written permission. Learners may use authorised materials for their own learning and professional development but must not publish, sell, redistribute, modify or use them to create competing training products. Unauthorised use may result in access restrictions, certificate review or legal action where appropriate.
Public policies and internal governance documents are reviewed periodically and updated where required by operational changes, legal changes, accreditation requirements, learner feedback or quality assurance findings. Policies will normally be reviewed at least annually and sooner where a material change, incident, audit finding, legal requirement or service development makes an earlier review necessary. Updated versions will include an appropriate review or publication date.
